Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC Youth Team Kicks Off New Season with Exciting Matches

Our Youth Team at Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC is back in action for the new season, ready to build on last year’s success. With new players joining, enhanced training sessions, and upcoming fixtures, there’s plenty of excitement in store for our young athletes.

First Game of the Season!

The team kicks off their season on Sunday, 10 September, with a 12:30 PM match against Barnhall at Heavey Technology Park. This marks an exciting milestone as our first dedicated Youth Team takes to the pitch. We encourage all supporters to come along and cheer on the team!

Team Match

Preseason Match – South Dublin Lions (SRRFC/Tallaght RFC)

The South Dublin Lions, a combined Youth Team from Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC and Tallaght RFC, have been actively training for the season ahead. They will play their first preseason match against Seapoint RFC on Sunday, 10 September, with an 11:00 AM kickoff at Heavey Technology Park.

Youth Team Coaching & Development

Our Team is supported this season by experienced coaches and familiar faces from SRRFC. A special thanks to Gavin O’Neill, who joins the U13 coaching team, and Little Ruckers Head Coach Eoghan Kennedy, who is stepping in to support the U14s. Their expertise and dedication will ensure our young players continue to develop their skills and passion for the game.

We encourage all club members and parents to promote the club—share the message in school WhatsApp groups, social media, and within your communities. Every new player strengthens our team and ensures a bright future for youth rugby at SRRFC.
