Tell us about your background
Started playing rugby league in Australia as a kid and switched to rugby late in high school. Started my senior career with my home town club in Australia (Lennox Head Trojans) before moving to the UK where I played for Quintins as well as Windsor RFC.
Moved to Ireland with the family in 2019. I have been playing with SRRFC since then and also coach some of the minis.
What made you want to join Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC?
Got a flyer in the mail box. I’d just moved to Ireland and wanted a sense of community. Rugby has always been a great way to meet people and have a pint.
Who is your favourite teammate?
Any lads who gives it their all and is a bit of craic whilst playing.
What’s the best thing about Stillorgan-Rathfarnham RFC?
The view from the pitches is pretty decent!
There is a great sense of community. One of the lads told me when I joined that it is a bit of an Irish expat club because there are not many born and bred locals in the team. This has created a really welcoming ethos and lads who just like playing rugby
Who will you be supporting at this year’s men’s RWC? Who do you think will win?
Wallabies all the way!
Any advice for people looking to get into rugby?
None. Just come along and have some fun.
